English Tutoring
Aotearoa International is an online, New Zealand (NZ) Curriculum-based, 10-week limited-entry English Tutoring program with registered NZ teachers. This course is for students across the world, and is aimed at developing English language, fostering independent learners, and critical thinkers.
The course is structured as a 10-week term program with two, one hour face-to-face, online lessons per week with a NZ registered teacher.

Goal
- Prepare international students to enter New Zealand schools.
- Improve confidence with spoken and written English language, focusing on fluency, vocabulary expansion, enunciation, conversational ability, sentence structure and phrasing etc.
- Develop independent, critical thinkers.
Method
- English language test & interview to place student within the NZ Curriculum.
- 20 live online 1-on-1 lessons, homework, and assignments.
- Course instruction, conversations and feedback from a NZ registered teacher.
- Progress evaluation and reporting with next steps.
Upon completion of the first 10-week term, students can advance their learning by completing consecutive terms to build on their language capabilities with their tutor.
